어사 키트(Eartha Kitt, 1927년 ~ 2008년)는 미국 출신 가수 및 댄서, 배우, 작가, 송라이터.

1968년 미국 백악관에 초청되어 대통령이 베트남 전쟁에 대해 의견을 묻자

"당신들은 이나라의 가장 뛰어난 젊은이들 내보내서 총에 맞아 죽거나 병신이 되게 했어요.

아이들이 들고 일어나는게 당연하죠" 이 한 마디로 그녀는 국내의 어느 무대에서도 설 자리를 잃어버리게 된다.

노래를 하기 위해 고국 미국을 떠나 유럽을 전전하던 그녀는 1978년이 되어서 지미 카터 대통령이 다시 백악관으로 초청하면서 복귀한다.

어사 키트는 4개국어를 구사하며 독특한 노래 스타일로 시대를 풍미했다.

노년에는 뮤지컬 가수로 그리고 만화 성우로 뛰어난 활약을 보였다.

본 앨범은 그녀의 대표곡 < Santa Baby 산타 베이비> 〈Uska Dara 우스카 달라〉, 〈C’est si Bon 세시봉〉 등 48곡이 수록되어 있다.

▶ 이탈리아 출신의 젊은 예술가 라 파둘라는 ‘어사 키트’의 이야기를 유쾌하고 선 굵은 애니메이션으로 표현한다.

오스카상을 수상한 단편 애니메이션을 작업한 '지안카를로 디마지오'가 시나리오를 썼다.

라 파둘라는 앙굴렘 국제 만화 영화제에서 우수상을 수상한 젊은 예술가.
