비틀스는 1957년 존 레논이 조직한 고교 밴드 '쿼리멘(The Quarry Men)'에서 시작되었다. 

이후 몇번의 밴드 멤버 교체를 겪다가, 폴 매카트니와 그의 친구 조지 헤리슨이 가입하였으며, 1962년 최종적으로 링고 스타가 영입되면서 밴드가 완성되었다.

앨범 "The Decca Tapes"는 EMI와 계약하기 전인 비틀스의 무명시절인 1962년 1월 1일에 레코딩된 비공식 비틀스 음반으로 드럼에 '피트 베스트(Pete Best)가 참여했다.

비틀매니아는 물론 바이닐 콜렉터를 위한 소장각!!
