스탄 켄튼은 재즈 빅밴드 스윙 시대를 지나는 동안 라틴리듬과 대규모 악단 편성 등

다양하고 실험적인 시도를 하여 현대 재즈 빅밴드 음악에 큰 영향을 준 아티스트이다.
