MARTINA EISENREICH (마르티나 아이센리흐)

MARTINA EISENREICH (COMPOSER)

born *1981 near Munich, Germany, was admitted to the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts („Hochschule für Musk und Theater München“) as a student at the young age of 15. There, and later at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, she completed her studies in classical composition, film score and sound design.

Besides her remarkable carreer as one of the most sought-after creative violinists with several album releases and live shows with her various ensembles, Martina received numerous commissions to complete works for cinema, television, theatre and radio plays. A number of these projects were sponsored by grants received through prizes or awards.

The Film NIMMERMEER („Nevermore“) was honoured at the Acadamy of Motion Picture Arts and Science’s 34th Annual Student Academy Award as recipient of the
Honorary Foreign Film Award 2007. Recently, GLM Music has started to release a series of the young composer’s most beautiful fim scores, and there are several album releases as a composer and performer during the last years: as well as teaching Film Scoring and Sound Design at the Academy of Television and Film in Munich (HFF, Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München), Martina Eisenreich brings her international work as a film composer to the stage, creating a colorful sound poetry all her own: „cinema for the ears“.
